On October 19th, the now deleted tweet was posted on Steve Harvey’s account ‘’A comedian you don’t find funny at all?’’
It’s a fair question if you ask me.
Like all mega stars, Steve doesn’t take care of his social media. It was a staffer of his did that is the culprit, he thought it would raise engagement rates and turns out, he was right. Before getting deleted, the post had gathered over 1 million views. Compared to his average engagement rate I would say his idea worked.
But Steve is pissed off, so much so that he took to Twitter to apologize.

“That don’t even make no damn sense. My whole brand is to be motivational, and I’m gonna turn around a say something like that? You don’t know where these young people at in they career, man. They could be coming up or anything. I’m all about positivity. I would’ve never done nothing like that.”
Fair enough, Steve you’re all about positivity. But I got to tell you, your apology was hard to watch. ‘’My bad y’all. I got to come on here and do a damn selfie so here it is. I’m sorry. My bad y’all. Won’t happen again though.’’
Truly moving words from the motivational speaker… There was no need for an apology and Steve knows it. He just did it to satisfy the cancel mob.
Look at the video again, he didn’t want to apologize and that’s why he’s pissed. It’s not the tweet, it’s the fact that he needed to take time off from his fishing trip to make a bullshit video apology.
I’ve always been a big fan of Steve Harvey and always will be but brother, nobody cares and nobody will remember! All you had to do is to delete the tweet and move on. But if you ever have to apologize again, let me give you a piece of advice for you, apologies are supposed to be sincere so try to sound like you actually mean it. I’ve seen better acting in porn movies.
