I always want more, and I will always will! I’m a very disciplined and driven person. But every day, I am grateful for my life. For the people I share it with and for everything I am accomplishing.
Everything happens for a reason
It’s important to understand that everything happens for a reason and that there is no such thing as a self-made man. There are always people there to help you along the way. It’s hard to believe that more than 3 years ago, I left the city to go live in the woods. I would live in isolation for 2 and a half years to concentrate on developing my plan. I’ve recorded more than 200 podcasts as a host and a guest. I’ve left my corporate life, and with my girlfriend and dog, we’ve been on the road traveling in our RV for 7 months. We are in Yuma, Arizona, right now. Since being on the road, I’ve written my first book, and I’m currently writing my second one. I’ve started 3 different companies, and I have multiple employees. I flew to Seattle to be a keynote speaker at a men’s convention, where I was thanked by a Vietnam vet for what I was doing. One of the most powerful experiences of my life.
I’ve got over one of my greatest fears of going live alone. I had been struggling with it for a long time, but last week, I promised someone I would do them 5 times a week for the next month. I recorded 5 last week, and I am loving it. Now I’m wondering why I’ve waited so long. I’m streaming live at noon Eastern time if you want to catch it and ask me questions on Facebook @realnicolagan and LinkedIn and YouTube @NicoLagan.
And tomorrow, I will take the first step to realizing one of my dreams. I will appear for the first time in my life at a radio station. How cool is that?
Being grateful changed my life
This is not me bragging but showing you that with balls, discipline, and gratefulness, you can go after your purpose. And what was the pivotal moment for me? When I started being grateful.
I’ve met so many great people on my journey that it leaves me speechless just thinking about it. So on this beautiful Monday, I want you to find someone to be grateful for and let them know. If there is one thing I know for sure is that people want to hear that they matter to you, so tell them it doesn’t need to be weird!
This morning, I sent 5 different texts to let these important people know how phenomenal they are and how grateful I am for them!
This is why I am writing this post right now and telling you why you should do the same.
Find someone to be grateful for, and let them know right now!
Let’s go!
Thank you for reading. I am grateful for every single one of you, and until next time, remember the world is changed one man at a time, and that one man can change the world.
